DAYS 1-2 Fort Kochi

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to Fort Cochin, a journey that takes approximately one hour. The remainder of the day is dedicated to relaxation, allowing you to overcome any jet lag and prepare for your upcoming cycling adventure. Fort Cochin serves as the cosmopolitan heart of Kerala. In the evening we will take you for a authentic Kerala cultural performance call Kathakali. On day 2 at Fort Kochi explore some of the prominent attractions in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry, including the Dutch Palace, the Jew Synagogue, St. Francis’ Church, Dutch Cemetery, Chinese Fishing Nets, and Santa Cruz Cathedral. The vintage charm of these places, coupled with bustling spice markets, antique shops, and art galleries, promises a captivating experience.

DAY 3 Thattekad

Departing early from Fort Kochi, we will surprise you with a journey northeast to a charming hamlet called ‘Cherukunnam’. This picturesque village is crisscrossed by canals, surrounded by lush green paddy fields, coconut groves, and quaint villages. Cycling along the canal bund roads, we will lead you through this serene landscape to the Edamalayar forests. The Edamalayar forests and Thattekad Bird Sanctuary are renowned for their rich avian diversity, offering a sanctuary for over 200 species of birds including the large falcon, grey jungle fowl, white-breasted water hen, and hornbill. The tranquil atmosphere, fresh air, and gentle breeze will rejuvenate your body and mind. In the afternoon, conclude your day with a relaxing kayaking session on Kerala's longest river, followed by leisurely plantation walks. One of the highlights of the day is a visit to Bhoothathankettu, a scenic dam site known for its natural beauty and intriguing folklore. You will spend the night at exquisite resorts or camps, immersed in the natural splendor of Kerala, ensuring a memorable and rejuvenating experience.

DAYS 4-5 Munnar

Embark on a scenic ride to Munnar, celebrated for its pristine tea estates, refreshing cool breeze, and panoramic vistas that have cemented Kerala's reputation as a top travel destination. The journey, though seemingly gentle, will come alive with every turn, offering glimpses of breathtaking landscapes. Munnar itself sits at the confluence of three mountain streams – Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundala, perched approximately 1600 meters above sea level. Once a summer resort for the British administration in South India, Munnar's charm lies in its classic bungalows and estates cultivating tea, cardamom, and other plantation crops. Today begins early with a departure from Munnar, cycling along routes that meander alongside the Western Ghats and the Cardamom Hills Reserve. Upon arrival at Periyar/Thekkady, spend the remainder of the day exploring the quaint town of Kumily, known for its vibrant local culture and spice markets.

DAY 7 Vagamon

After breakfast at Periyar, we will head to Vagamon. This sleepy town is renowned for its scenic valleys, beautiful green meadows, enchanting pine forests, mists, fogs, tea estates, waterfalls, and overall greenery. The route offers perfect terrain for mountain biking, with picturesque views that include small spice-growing hamlets scattered across the landscape, undulating roads through tea estates, and forests. Your destination is a resort nestled amidst tea estates, providing a tranquil retreat after a challenging day of cycling.

DAY 8 Alleppey

After a leisurely breakfast, we embark on an exhilarating 30 km descent through the rubber estates, offering another captivating experience. Following a brief rest, we transfer to Alleppey. Here, a luxury rice-barge awaits us on the serene waters of Vembanad Lake. Enjoy a festive lunch onboard with soothing music in the background, followed by your chance to steer the boat through vast stretches of blue waters. With coconut palms, temples, and villages dotting the horizon, take moments to sketch or compose poetry. As night falls and the sky fills with a million stars, let the gentle breeze guide you through these enchanting waters.

DAYS 9-10 Marari Beach

At 9 am, following breakfast, we embark on a journey through stunning landscapes. After bidding farewell to our captain and crew, we engage in a traditional Coir (coconut fiber) making session with a local artisan. Cycling along narrow routes weaving through villages and temples, we make our way to Mararikulam, a charming fishing village nestled by the beach. Renowned as one of the world’s top five hammock beaches by National Geographic, Marari Beach offers a serene setting amid coconut groves and azure waters. Discover the local culture as we pedal through Kerala’s largest community of bicycle enthusiasts, with surprises awaiting us along the route.

After a delightful breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Cochin airport to bid adieu to God’s Own Country, Kerala.
