On Arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our representative and will be transferred to your hotel at Fort Kochi. Cochin is the cosmopolitan center of Kerala. The colonial and heritage town of Fort Kochi is more lively and fun than the commercial city. Some of the best spots in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry (the more historical hub) include the Dutch palace, the Jew Synagogue, St Francis’ Church, Dutch Cemetery, Chinese Fishing nets, Santa Cruz Cathedral and so on. The old world charm infused with the numerous spice markets, antique shops and art galleries will amaze you. Evening we will enjoy the traditional cultural dance performance.

After breakfast, we will commence our cycling for the day. Leaving the heritage town of Fort Cochin, we will hit the beach road that will take us to our destination for the day, the white sandy beaches at Mararikulam. Today’s ride will take us along the fishing villages and coconut plantations on one side and the sea on the other. We will reach in time for lunch at the villa. Wind down by spending the afternoon on the beach.

After a relaxed breakfast, we head to Alleppey, known for its serene backwaters. The route passes through country roads and small villages where we will see coconut husk being processed and made into coir ropes and mats. We hit the backwaters and cycle towards a backwater resort situated on the backwaters.

Today, you will meet up with our kayaking guide at the resort, who will brief about your kayaking tour and safety measures required for Kayaking. You will have excellent opportunity to see village life at close quarters during your kayaking. You can find the locals engaged in their day to day activities. The vast expanse of water, the friendly local people and their lifestyles which you get to experience in close proximity are bound to mesmerize you. By noon, you will cruise into the beautiful heritage villa, situated on backwaters.

Today, after having breakfast at the backwater homestay, you will Kayak towards another ancestral home situated on the backwaters. As you kayak through the palm-fringed backwaters, you will be fascinated by the beauty and serenity of the backwaters and realize why it has become world famous and attractive to millions of tourists visiting this area. Enroot, you will have a picnic lunch and afterwards, you can either continue kayaking or enjoy cruising on the motor boat towards the backwater homestay.
