We start our kayaking tour from the houseboat embarkation point at Pallathuruthy Alleppey. Meet our guide here; he will give you short description about our activity today.

Exploring the backwaters on a kayak is a very unique experience of backwaters as you will be paddling through some small backwater canals where a usual boat or houseboat cannot take you through. You will be able to see many local houses on the banks of these canals and can see how the backwater people live here. There will be men concentrated on fishing or duck farming, women washing clothes or group of children swimming in the water, but all of them with a welcoming smile on their faces. You might be able to see some toddy tapers collecting toddy from the Coconut trees.
