After a quick introduction of the day’s activities we’re out to explore the unexplored Munnar. Bike past corrugated-iron-roofed cottages, tea estates and spectacular waterfalls of the Kannan Devan Hills. With peninsular India’s highest peak, Anamudi (2695m) just round the corner there’s not too much more to offer. After a 35 Kms undulating ride in the cool climes of the tea clad hills, go for a short trek and check out the valleys in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu.

Hop into a local hot spot for lunch and you are all set for the ride back downhill. The downhill route is the same road that you took to climb but the views give you a different perspective. It may be tempting to race past but the sharp curves are blind spots for onward motor vehicles and it is best to be slowest during the ride down.
